Desert Communications management requires a plan that will help them allocate their time to various forms of activities and responsibilities to employees. On the other hand, there is a need to monitor employees’ performance to determine whether this plan is working. In this case, manages are expected to verify ways employees attitude can affect achievement of organizational goals. Methods to be applied in presenting the operational change will focus on maintaining employees’ morale and expectancy at a high level and consistency. Therefore, this will ensure that employees are meeting set standards, despite operational change in the organization. Moreover, managers can achieve their objective by using methods that are persuasive to employees.

One of these methods involves clarifying to employees on issues concerning process of operational change, which will involve alteration of the organization structure. Therefore, this will give managers a tool to manage employees’ relationships. Secondly, it involves making short-term plans that are based on employees’ expectations and results from operational change. There is a need to monitor the process of operational change to ensure that employees are able to maintain quality of their services and performance, hence facilitating success of this project. In this case, improved performance can be evaluated in terms of measurable changes such as skills, perception and behaviors in the organization. This training plan has to be undertaken through a technology-based program, which can be cost effective method for training plan in Desert Communications. Moreover, this form of training would apply models of technology-based training for employees in the organization. Therefore, employees will apply computer-based training, which is also referred to as computer assisted learning. Furthermore, this method will offer teams and individual employees a chance to access information concerning various operations that have been changed in the organization. In fact, this training program will entail simulations, webinars tutorials and videoconferencing in order to convey training to multiple audiences within the organization.

How will group and team collaboration facilitate the success of training?

Employee contribution to processes of changing business strategy is vital to the organization, and this will add to generation of profit. On the other hand, this can be achieved through group and team collaboration, whereby they are offered relevant training and resources for accomplishment of the project that can assist in the acquisition of new strategies (Robbins & Judge, 2011). Teams are expected to work together; thus, they can solve problems through clarification of their differences rather than seeking ways to accommodate their differentiated perceptions in organization (Robbins & Judge, 2011). In this case, members of these groups and teams are expected to share a common objective of achieving organization goals. However, this requires fostering relationship attributed to trust and effective collaboration. Moreover, there is a need to develop a team comprising of members that are able to recognize significance of other members in their team. In this case, some team members can be leaders among the teams while ideas from any member should not be disregarded.

What tactics will be used to identify and minimize conflict?

Communication is a significant tactic that can be used to identify and reduce the level of conflicts and facilitate creation awareness concerning operational chances in the organization. Another tactic involves designing a conflict resolution system that focuses on effective communication skills. Desert Communications should train their human resource personnel on ways to resolve conflicts. The organization can apply specialized conflict resolution systems that are designed to utilize protocols used to meet needs of all employees (Robbins & Judge, 2011).

What kind of collaboration among the employees and management affect the success of the operational change?

Management of employee relationship through collaboration can have a substantial contribution to achievement of success in the operational change. Therefore, Desert Communications managers should use effective methods of interacting with employees. In this case, there are substantial roles played by human resource managers in collaborations to facilitate success in areas like training and coaching (Robbins & Judge, 2011). Moreover, managers should use this collaboration to establish and foster a mutual relationship with employees, which facilitates processes of monitoring employees and evaluating their performance.

How will management use work teams and work groups to facilitate the upcoming operational change?

Management in Desert Communications can use teams and work groups that comprise people with purposeful behaviors for achievement of set organizational objective. Managers encourage groups and teams to work onward in process of operational change (Robbins & Judge, 2011). Managers should also focus on dealing with challenges influencing employee performance in these groups and teams. This will increase their motivation and efficiency; thus, operational chance will not affect their development. Therefore, there is a need to improve services offered to customer through these teams and groups to increase profits generated in Desert Communications.
