The topic of work-life balance is becoming relevant because people have begun to see difficulties in setting boundaries between work and personal life. This topic made people think after the quarantine period when all the people were sitting at home working. As it turned out, it is complicated to combine work and personal life in one place (Ugwu et al., 2018). This article examines workplace pressures and people’s needs in the chosen example, the Orlando Health hospital system.

The technology facilitated efficiencies contributed to work-life balance positively. My organization have almost doubled since they enlarged their building (Mathews et al., 2018). Doubled number of workers shows that my organization cares that patients do not stand in line and can go to other doctors and nurses. Due to the opening of various outpatient centers, doctors would have almost no time before doubling their number. Consequently, it would be necessary to increase the number of working hours for doctors and nurses. Thus, there would be no time for medical professionals to spend on their personal lives.

For this reason, the trend in the distribution of work responsibilities in Orlando Health is quite reasonable and fair for both patients and employees. In these centers, patients undergo screening, tomography, and other examinations. These technologies were oriented toward the convenience of patients and their interests (Mathews et al., 2018). However, the introduction of various devices also contributed to the well-being of doctors and nurses. With the help of technology, they save time on making diagnoses. Almost half of the work of medical professionals is done by computers and other technologies. Thus, doctors do not engage in additional research and do not get stressed. Consequently, if part of the work of doctors and nurses is delegated, they will be able to concentrate more on their personal lives.

Over the years, the tendency to increase the time I work has increased. The nurses’ jobs have been reduced, and the remaining ones must work out. For an employer, more hours of working time can make it clear how motivated and reliable a nurse is for work. On the other hand, a large number of working hours for an organization can harm the safety and quality of work. To maintain a work-life balance, employees sometimes have to sacrifice some priorities at work. An employee keeps a good balance if he knows how to plan, take a break, not do his job, and not interfere with his life work.

These struggles help employees get less stress at work and clear boundaries between work and personal life. However, the work of a nurse is devalued in many cases while they devote all their time to work. This phenomenon is explained by the fact that nurses strive for professional excellence to occupy high positions in the future. Only dedicated nurses can literally “survive,” and those who cannot bear the burden due to many patients being forced to leave (Bagley et al., 2018). Thus, the quality of service of an organization will improve because employees will not get tired at work and will want to work for a long time in this organization. Consequently, this will bring more benefits for employers as the rating of the organization will increase and will begin to enjoy great demand among customers.

If I were the leader of my organization, I would put performance improvement first and task completion as a requirement. At the same time, employees should have a break and be able to go home from work on time and without delay, and at the same time, employees should come to work on time. This way, employees will have an excellent opportunity to plan their remaining days. In addition, employees will have the right to use and demand all the conditions necessary for work, provided that they will perform their tasks at the appointed time.

For people to enjoy going to work, it is necessary to create the conditions. Employers should not infringe on their rights, and people should have time for personal life. Without these components, employees will be unhappy and will soon want to change jobs. In today’s world, keeping the line between personal life and work is especially important, as modern people tend to focus only on appointments. It is important to remember that the quality of the work you do depends not only on experience but also on rest time. If an employee works without a day off, his ability to work will decrease significantly, and his morale will deteriorate considerably. That is why it is necessary to reduce the level of pressure of employers on their employees.
