I feel most comfortable with the Charismatic leadership style because those who hold to it are driven by an unwavering commitment and their own beliefs. Apart from it, they are distinguished by their charm and attractiveness to others and the ability to communicate on an emotionally deep level with their subordinates. A leader with natural charisma can undoubtedly influence people in a way that others cannot. Moreover, having a charismatic leadership style, the manager inspires everyone around to achieve goals. It can be highly motivating for employees accelerating productivity, unity, and engagement in an organization. Nevertheless, as with any leadership manner concerned, there are situations in which the Charismatic leadership style will be uncomfortable. In addition, there are cases to be avoided as not to have a high probability of failure. However, it is possible to attack such a situation with particular tools to remain successful ultimately.

In particular, one of the situations I would feel most uncomfortable in leading is the management of an organization where the foundations of rigid processes and structures were previously formed. In this way, employees are used to doing what the director says without questions and expressing any opinion. They had virtually no opportunity to make any changes, even if they might be useful. To be successful in this case, I would have to make employees feel that their beliefs and opinions are essential to the company because they are the most valuable resource.

In addition, another situation that I would feel uncomfortable leading is the management of an organization in which employees, for some reason, resist everything new and do not want to learn. Possibly, they act in this way due to instincts, based on which resistance to change is equivalent to fighting the unknown full of risks and fears. To be successful in this case, I would have to talk to employees to help them feel relaxed when new circumstances arise. In particular, I would broaden the information about the innovations, assist in understanding the benefits of change, and make them aware that I keep the situation under control.

As not to have a high probability of failure, the situations that I would prefer to avoid are becoming an arrogant leader and a lack of compassion towards employees. It can be the reason for the occurrence of cases when employees, instead of being allies, simply agree with my opinion, leaving it unnoticed. I would approach such situations with the tools that I have at my disposal currently. It comprises an emphasis on ethics, caring for everyone, and going beyond just assigned performance goals and objectives. In particular, maintaining eye contact and active listening, sensitivity, responsiveness, positivity, sincerity in contact with subordinates will ultimately allow me to cope with this situation and become an ally, not an arrogant leader.

To summarize, the Charismatic leadership style is the most comfortable for me because my unwavering commitment and the ability to communicate on an emotionally deep level with my team are close to me. To be successful in uncomfortable situations, I would make employees feel that their beliefs and opinions are paramount to the company and talk to them to help them feel relaxed when new circumstances arise. As not to have a high probability of failure, I would prefer to avoid becoming an arrogant leader. With the tools that I have at my disposal, I would attack it by focusing on ethics, caring for employees, and going beyond designated performance goals and objectives.
