The modern world tends to rapid and sometimes significant changes that establish new rules and norms. The information field has become much easier to master for every person and has significantly impacted human life. However, some things have remained unchanged in their importance and necessity. Ethics, leadership, and effective management occupy not the last place in the activities of modern man, and they will be discussed in this paper.

Ethics is a pronounced cultural phenomenon that affects the whole gamut of human feelings and emotions and enriches human communication. The most crucial feature of ethics is that it is always subordinate to the established system of cultural values (Haskins, 2010). Accepting ethical norms means recognizing oneself as a member of a given social group or society as a whole and submitting to the cultural values that have developed here.

In addition, ethics reflects people’s general cultural level, education, upbringing, and conformism. The most important social function of ethics is the prevention of conflict situations in interpersonal communication, which is essential both at work and in everyday life (Bishop, 2013). The norms of ethics help people find a common language and behave with dignity in difficult situations. Ethics, being the greatest asset of human culture, regulates social relations and enriches people’s lives.

Leadership is rather closely related to the concept of effective management; therefore, it is advisable to consider them as a whole. Leadership is the most crucial component of effective management and is found wherever there is a stable association of people. An essential role is assigned to the leader in creating and managing organizational culture (Shetach, 2012). The effectiveness of leadership is directly related to the ability of leaders to lead organizational and interpersonal communication, influencing its nature.

Effective leadership is built on a new type of “leader-follower” relationship when the leader receives power from followers who recognize their value and importance for their teamwork. The ability to be a leader in life and at work has a direct relationship with the realization of aspirations and desires, the achievement of goals and objectives, and the fulfillment of an important dream that every person has. Thus, ethics allows understanding other people, despite cultural differences, and leadership and management skills effectively manage a person’s life or organization.
