With time, the implications for business process management have shifted with context raging from philosophy to pure technology. Philosophical because effectiveness in business is human to depend in terms of how businesses use customer care and hospitality to win the most important person in any business, the customer or the client and technology because it involves automation in duty execution through the use of computer software that addresses business issues. There is a strong positive correlation and a synergistic yield in terms of efficiency in cases where technology and technical business have been jointly used (Smith, 102).

Technically, business process management encompasses making of self-running system or a system that will run with minimum human involvement and yet producing desirable output in terms of reduced business costs and improved returns. The process also can be an asset in handling logistical issues within and beyond the scope of a medium corporate. it has proved one of the most strategic points where information technology merges with business.

Through business process management as a tool, there has been a web-like relationship between businessmen, effective business management, and business transactions. A business process management system should provide for advanced analysis and the employment of logical business systematics while handling the business issue, should have a clear and easy to follow methodology for its use to promote the participation of the elite majority of the corporate world as well as having the ability to have established boundaries within which it is safely operational. For future improvement, it should provide a means of checking shortcomings that stand to be corrected.

The whole process of business process management is non-linear but rather cyclic. This means at a certain point, the whole process repeats all over again. First, you have to assess and comprehend the prevailing processes to boost the relevance of the designing stage. Second, you assess possibilities by studying possible trends in the variables involved. This is a critical stage in preparation for any predictable business risks. The BPM design is then executed in anticipation of the desired impact. Of course, there is a need to make a follow-up to track and rectify any faults in the system. These rectifications are done on any existing, detectable, or foreseen shortcomings in the process as well as to the unexploited opportunities that can lead to reduced spending, one of the key goals in a business of any kind.

Business process management like any other subject of great concern has a past, present, and future. Much business-minded population expects that the future of business process management could be most adorable. With the current need for simple but very efficient methods for executing tasks in support of the quick advancement for humanity notably in the recent past, the focus has shifted from employing technology to incorporate tasks done by machines. The major concern now is how to boost the anthropogenic components for effective and more rewarding business operations.

This is not to say automated mechanization in industrial operations is irrelevant, but an attempt to have both in operation to have even more of the expected result. This dream can be realized through staff and support staff motivation to have a strong spirit of teamwork, improved customer care, and hospitality management to expand the client pool.

Expected impact of Business Process Management

Business process management is expected to have a great impact, both positive and negative in the future (O’Connell, 39). It is expected to play the headlight in identifying possible shortcomings in the daily running of business operations. The current situation is a major breakthrough for those who were in the corporate world before this Business management tool was adopted. It is also expected to greatly assist supervisors in industrial and other business works in managing the database pertaining job assignments to each employee, especially in the production and marketing departments. it can potentially be used in tracking non-productive staff and management personnel as well as knowing the most productive and active team players for rewarding. Since all these duties would have called for the employment of more staff in the management, this is a sure way of cutting down costs while increasing the revenue. These are admirable trends in the short run for any form of investment.

There is also an expectation of faster making and execution of major decisions that are informed mainly because the system will allow sharing of information among administrators. Therefore, the ultimate goal of adopting a business process management system is likely to even embrace high-quality service or goods production as well as higher levels of risk management.
