Every organization monitors the performance of its employees and ensures their compliance with the corporate goals and objectives. The evaluation process involves several stages such as assessment, which can take place weekly and monthly for individuals and quarterly for teams. During this stage, the assessment can be comparative, and KPIs are used to evaluate the performance of groups and individual workers. The subsequent stage is to evaluate whether the team and colleagues meet the set goals and expectations.

After that, having a conversation with them will improve the overall quality and performance. I, as a manager of the company, being involved in similar activities, and paying attention to the achievement of the goals and objectives is my primary duty. In this instance, I had a conversation with one of my employees concerning his ability to meet organizational objectives. I can admit that the overall structure of the interview required improvement, as it was difficult for me to maintain the flow of the conversation. Nonetheless, I was able to deliver my points to my team member, and we developed an action plan on how to improve the overall performance.

In this case, providing feedback will have a beneficial impact on enhancing the overall quality, as the employees will have a clear understanding of the areas that require improvement. In this case, the feedback to the individuals can be provided with the help of personal interviews, as being in direct contact with an employee will establish a rapport and increase the effectiveness of communication. Another approach is to deliver the information to the workers with the help of the report, as this strategy will provide insights into the exact indicators that require improvement. Speaking of the team feedback, it could be communicated in the form of a discussion with the members of the team.

In this case, the individual team members have an opportunity to share their opinions about the working process and help the manager identify potential causes of the failure. Alternatively, the feedback about the group performance can be provided to each group member individually to avoid the bias of the opinions, and, after that, it is appropriate to set a discussion. Another concept that can be applied is self-management. In this case, the team members can be offered to take advantage of self-evaluation and, then, compare the results with the actual KPIs.

In turn, using the recording systems can contribute to the effective assessment and monitoring of the results. Multisource feedback is one of the most effective approaches to assessing performance. For instance, using individual surveys and self-reflections can assist in understanding the issue from the inside. In this case, applying this approach can contribute to finding an effective solution to the conflict. KPIs associated with the number of sales or goods produced are other matters that can be used to evaluate performance, as these measurements show whether the employees meet the corporate standards. It could be used as a basis to understand the abilities of the workforce. Lastly, utilizing various financial indicators such as sales volumes and individual contribution to revenue will assist in understanding the potentials areas of impact of employees’ actions on the overall organizational performance and their effectiveness.
