In countless instances, the concepts around job and employment tend to dominate the minds of many people around the world. In essence, it is a major component of life that remains predominantly paramount in various ways in existence. Both seekers and providers share common ground when it comes to the working environment. Throughout this module, I have learned several aspects of career growth regarding personnel in public administration. However, I found job evaluation and analysis as one fundamental topic to study.

The issues in job evaluation and pay play a significant role in shaping the productivity of organization alongside individual development. Interestingly, the three major aspects of determining the value of jobs and its cost include approaches and processes in evaluation, pay systems, and public wage techniques. I find these concepts good because they determine how much one will earn after completing their studies. This subject exists in all areas of life and defines what people go through in terms of their career. It allows both the employers and employed individuals to understand the prospects of their career development.

In real life, several companies have varied ways of determining how much they pay their employees. At the same time, individuals have different methods of valuing their services. In essence, most of the techniques utilized by some of the firms revolve around the value of profit realized from such investment. Positive results imply that their staff are productive in their activities and deserve better pay. On the contrary, negative implication may also be used to promote changes within the enterprises. Such findings may enable the officers in management to establish conclusions.

In my view, engaging every stakeholder in the job chain can help to collect information which can be used to make the best decision for the institution. In practice, companies use surveys and sampling methods to gather data which they apply to evaluate various issues relating to job satisfaction, pay, and growth among the distinctive bodies. Nonetheless, it is fascinating to explore several sources where the entities often get the information about performance. According to Nigro and Kellough (2014), the most influential respondents who can help in providing valid information involve the supervisors, the employees, investors, and other interested parties. These categories of people may become vital in decision-making and long-term planning of the business.

Likewise, there are multiple notable practices conducted across various industries to help the institutes get viable information about the job. Some of the crucial aspects of concern which exist in such entities include job classifications in terms of position and salary. Evidently, managers can use their authority to ensure that the works are in line with the company’s association. Predominantly, organizations would always want to compete favorably with other firms because there is a need to adjust to the changing environments. On numerous accounts, bosses tend to use their relations with the staff members to make decisions.

To conclude, there are several concepts that I have learned through this module. The topic of issues around job evaluation and pricing is an elaborate concept which requires comprehensive understanding. Numerous ideas are evident in this chapter to explain the real issues affecting businesses worldwide. Notably, the formal employment system has ranks that highlight various structures in organization. In reality, much of what this unit explains depicts what the corporate firms endure to prosper in societies.
